1973 at the great Sugarloaf Mountain Amphitheater near Chillicothe,

depicts the life of Tecumseh and his efforts to drive the whites
out of the Ohio country and restore it to his fellow Shawnees and
other tribes. He is very nearly successful in his endeavor
until betrayed by his disobedient and megalomanic brother, Tenskwatawa
-- also known as The Prophet. More than two million people
have seen this production, which features equity actors and top
quality drama, and it is rated one of the best outdoor dramas in
the United States. Originally published as a trade paperback
in 1971 by Little, Brown & Co., Boston, Mass. After being
